I am a public relations specialist who has promoted commercial real estate, economic development, nonprofit organizations and hospitality and travel accounts over my career. I am president of Mackey Ink and Public Relations Director for Otto Design + Marketing. This combination has allowed me to work on some of the highest profile projects in our region such as the opening of the Slover Library, the launch of The Main, downtown Norfolk’s newest destination; the Virginia Squires Legends Reunion, the first ABA reunion; Dave & Busters (best grand opening in history of the company); Chrysler Museum Glass Studio, APM Terminals Virginia (largest economic development project in Portsmouth); Innovation Research Park @ ODU; Gordon Biersch Brewery; CMA-CGM North American headquarters; and East Beach, the site of two Homearamas and the Idea House for Coastal Living magazine. Inside Business recognized me with a Women In Business Distinction Award in 2015. Two campaigns received Public Relations Society of America Pinnacle Awards - the opening of Slover Library and FNV Live, an event for the Partnership for a Healthier America that was co-chaired by Michelle Obama.
