Maintain web-based one-stop NYS service entry system (OSOS). Data enter job-seekers privileged information and complete intake, initial assessment and validate information provided to the center, by interviewing the customer. Instruct job-seeker on how to conduct an adequate job search according to New York State and Department of Social Service standards. Conduct Montgomery County Department of Social Service Job Search requirements orientation, to ensure shared job-seekers are complying with Temporary Assistance and Food Stamp regulations. Create and format résumés, cover letters and job applications. Assist job-seekers with emailing and applying for jobs online. Knowledge of, and update current job listings daily. Design and create daily slide show to inform job-seekers of center programs and up-coming events using MS PowerPoint. Creation and distribution of monthly calendars, job postings and newsletters, using MS Publisher. Conduct sign-up, registration and scheduling for supplemental computer courses offered by the center and affiliates. Ability to speak publicly and promote center activities and programs. Working knowledge of MS Excel and ADA assistive technology such as: JAWS, Zoom Text, OpenBook, SmartView, Scroll Balls, TTY/TDD, Relay Service and NYS Interpreter line.
