Cindy was a dynamic force on the Mammal Department team at the Bronx Zoo. As a senior wild animal keeper, Cindy was responsible for the daily management of the Bronx Zoo’s Madagascar building and staff. She led staff through large-scale maintenance projects, enhanced emergency preparedness, streamlined operating procedures, standardized training programs.

Cindy was one of four keepers responsible for the entire animal collection. She assisted with veterinary procedures, exhibit repair, and animal transports. She initiated, organized and managed training and enrichment programs for the zoo's animals.
