I’m Cindy Maxson, Senior Transition Specialist with Mom’s House®. I network with the senior living industry to help families with the transition into senior care communities. I have brought together a support team to offer families information, resources and options - senior living administrators, placement agents, social workers, elder care attorneys, CPA’s, financial estate planners, title companies, contractors, clean out and estate sale companies and more.I help the adult children by providing options and guidance when the time comes to sell mom's house, so they can free up financial resources and start the process as quickly as possible. I am a trained and Certified Buyer who can purchase a “mom’s house” in its current condition, along with all unwanted items. Every situation is unique, and sometimes we evaluate and decide that listing mom's house is the best option for the family. In those cases I work with families as a licensed REALTOR® to prepare, price, and list the property for maximum profit. In instances where monthly cash flow is preferred, I can help the family use creative financing to generate a steady flow of income. My experience allows me to provide families with several options when it comes to using the equity in the home to finance the care for their loved one.In many situations the family helping their loved one is in crisis, overwhelmed with his or her new care needs. I can remove the added burden of having to coordinate with siblings and contractors to clean out, update and repair a house.
