Cindy Meadows is an AICP-certified urban planner who specializes in assisting clients with complex matters involving land use, growth management, and neighborhood preservation.With over two decades of experience as a professional planner, Cindy has worked with various developers, real estate firms, and property owners throughout Central Florida. In 1998, Cindy founded Community Planning Associates, Inc. in response to the growing needs of residents, neighborhood organizations, and homeowner associations across Walton County.In 2004, Cindy was elected to the Walton County Board of County Commission, where she dedicated herself to serving the needs of Walton communities. As Vice-Chair of the Board of Walton County Commissioners, Cindy led the way in establishing the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts that provided much-needed funding to improve community infrastructure with no increase in property taxes. Cindy also championed better public services for families through adding improvements to the South Walton Sports Complex, Driftwood Park, Helen McCall Park, and Kellogg Park. With her life-long passion for public service, Cindy has earned a reputation as the “people’s commissioner” for families and residents in Walton County.
