I am a client relationship manager and communications specialist from a small town in southeastern Oregon. After learning the fundamentals of community relations through various internships and volunteer positions, I became the marketing manager, office coordinator, and ad sales rep of my local radio station. Although, I learned just as much about managing people while working nights bartending. I took a year to travel the country and experience life beyond Oregon, and eventually ended up moving to Hillsboro, OR where I managed big emotions, high stress situations, and strained family relations as a bridal consultant. If you can manage to deescalate and please crazy moms and drunk people, you can make just about anyone happy. I found myself missing the joys of living in rural Oregon, so I moved to Pendleton, OR to be a marketing and advertising consultant with the East Oregonian and Hermiston Herald. Through my ad sales, I have learned a lot about our community and how to work with a team of other ad reps to accomplish revenue goals.
