CurrentReporting to the Human Resources Director, I am responsible for developing programs, training, and consulting on human resources, government compliance, and payroll related issues for over 600 employees.• Enhancing performance measures by developing a company-wide performance management review program. • Ensuring government compliance by creating company policies and a comprehensive employee handbook. • Improving retention by analyzing new hire information & developing an all-inclusive training & orientation manual.• Enriching employee & management relations & increasing productivity through performance improvement plans.• Improving effectiveness of the new review & merit cycle program through creating a comprehensive training plan.• Ensuring US & Canadian payroll compliance by accurately & efficiently paying employees & government on time.• Improving work environment via facilitating conflict resolutions, conducting investigations, coaching & training. • Enhancing leadership skills by researching, developing & presenting an effective management training program. • Attracting more qualified applicants by enhancing & adding employee value propositions to recruitment materials.• Reducing recruitment costs & time by enhancing the recruitment process through department panel interviews. • Minimizing turnover costs by analyzing exit interview information & implementing effective solutions & programs.• Diminishing legal risks to company via consulting managers on Canadian & US common-law best practices.
