• 10-week clinical placement at Eastern Health CYMHS - Intensive Mobile Treatment Team IMTT (case management)IMTT is an outreach service for people aged 12-25 who experiences complex mental health challenges.
• Managed my own case load of clients through building a therapeutic relationship with clients and collaborated with client’s care team and relevant stakeholders to provide support and treatment to individual.
• Worked closely within the multidisciplinary team and contributed to discussion in weekly handover meetings, clinical reviews and risks handover meetings.
• Presented at handover meetings, clinical reviews and client’s care team meetings to advocate for client’s goals and needs.
• Administered and interpret several mental health and occupational assessments tools such as the MSE, CRAM, HoNOSCA, CGAS, FIHS, SDQ, Individual Recovery Plan and The Sensory Profile 2.

12-month Participatory Community Practice (PCP) project in collaboration with CHARGE Syndrome Australasia (CSA) and Monash University. CHARGE Syndrome Australasia (CSA) is a non-for-profit organisation that aims to provide support to individuals with CHARGE syndrome and their families improve their quality of life. CHARGE syndrome is a rare genetic.

• Completed a 7-week paediatrics placement via Telehealth. My role and responsibilities included:
• Administering occupational therapy assessments including the COPM, Learn to Play assessment and Sensory Profile and produced quality reports.
• Intervention planning and facilitating group sessions with activities to develop the children’s emotional regulation, fine motor skills and gross motor skills.
• Undertaking self-directed study and applying clinical reasoning through implementation of evidence-based practice.

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre

• 3-week clinical placement within a private inpatient rehabilitation setting at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre (TVRC). Upon completion of this placement, I gained experience in:
• Administering initial assessments to build a rapport with clients and identify occupational performance issues to plan for appropriate intervention
• Administering cognitive assessments (MOCA, ACE-III, emergency scenarios) and functional assessments (PADLs, DADLs)
• Independently and co-facilitating functional activity groups (upper limb therapy, active minds) and education groups (hip precaution, back care, managing fatigue, falls prevention)
• Completing home assessments and providing home modification/assistive equipment recommendations
• Attending daily handovers and weekly clinical reviews within the multidisciplinary team

• Actively seek sponsorship for the club and wrote contracts for sponsorship collaborations.
• Established and maintained a close liaison with sponsors throughout the year.
• Attended committee meetings and performed other duties to plan and organise for events.
