In this and the Transition PM role I worked directly with senior leaders and executives to own and execute critical human capital strategies. I interpreted and articulated workforce planning tactics for Vanguard’s largest transformation projects which sought to outsource the global fund accounting function to chosen service providers. This work transformed the human capital landscape for 100’s of employees. The success came from properly defining performance goals and creating workforce planning roadmaps for leadership to follow. To do so, I partnered with human resources, legal, and compliance to navigate and develop legally sound employee role transition roadmaps. I also oversaw talent selection processes by managing postings, articulating preferences, mapping roles, hosting interviews, and assessing talent reviews. This allowed me to create a global workforce and hiring strategy to source, hire, and retain top talent for two departments with 200-300 employees each. In the end, I reviewed, analyzed, and coached on professional development strategies to support needs to deliver data-driven insights to leaders and crew.

In this role, I created learning and development (L&D) solutions using adult learning theories and other proven instructional methods. By utilizing an intuitive and collaborative approach to understanding organizational needs, I aligned training and onboarding programs with goals and objectives. I blended an understanding of psychology, communication, human performance, and education to build training initiatives that shortened the learning curve for new hires, thereby accelerating the successful transition into their new roles.
