To keep a plan healthy and strong in the long term, you have to constantly be looking forward to where your business, and pension plan, are headed by identifying and managing those risks pro-actively. Helping members understand their pension plan is equally important, so an effective communication strategy is critical. My other interests include managing the PBI Toronto office, lobbying various government bodies, speaking on pension related matters, and of course, thought leadership. Show less

Cindy spent over 20 years of her career in the pension consulting practice at Buck Consultants in the capacity of consulting actuary and account executive, with clients having pension plans ranging from only a few members to large public sector plans with over 80,000 members. Cindy's strong leadership skills and business acumen also lead her to the positions of Toronto Retirement Practice Leader and Director of Client Strategy and Growth while at Buck.
