Role: Oversee and guide Fixed Income Derivative Operations projects with primary focus on regulatory requirement compliance and productivity improvements.

Role: Integrated new products/businesses into the Fixed Income Derivative Platform and developed procedures for new product/business integration. Liaised with various business partners and IT as Operations primary project contact.

Role: Supported settlement of derivative products such as total return swaps, interest rate and cross currency swaps, forward baskets, FX, as well as fixed income instruments. Functioned as key resource and knowledge expert for the team. Led multiple system customization and migration projects from documenting business requirements, performing UATs, to successful implementations. Developed SOP that adhered to corporate and business specific policies with appropriate controls.

Role: Reviewed structured credit Total Return Swaps (TRS) transactions including deal verification, settlement calculation and payment to ensure accurate and timely accounting, processing, reporting and controls over derivatives products. Monitored post-settlement reconciliation and the monthly trial balance of receivable and payable accounts of the credit TRS. Oversaw the daily monitoring of all trading activities against approved trading and credit limits, and reported overage as appropriate to mitigate risk of loss arising from potential default.

Role: Maintained the Bank’s Fixed Assets System by updating the monthly addition, depreciation, and disposals of fixed assets in compliance to the Bank’s policies and procedures. Collected data from various resources and compiled into complex budgeting model to assist in the preparation of the annual budget allocations for the technology department. Processed timely payments to vendors and reimbursements to employees in compliance with expense management policy, with a track record of zero overdue payments.
