When my full-time career ended, I had the luxury for self-examination and discovery to define myself without my job, title, or career. I documented the process tracking the resources I found to be effective in guiding my path to my personal enlightenment and learned that others sought to benefit from my journey and my coaching business evolved.My career exemplified the premise expressed in the bestseller, "Range" by David Epstein, that generalists, as opposed to specialists, triumph in the workplace. My “range” of experience in diverse workplaces from government and non-profit to higher education, high tech, association, consulting, and luxury residential arenas, as well as my “range” of roles from finance, HR, event and project management, and communication fortify David Epstein's assertions and contributed to my success. In addition to my skills and experience, my “can-do” attitude and loyal work ethic values contribute to my value in the workplace as a part-time assistant in various departments at Massachusetts General Hospital. My creative outlet exploded with a simple question: what could I do with the thousands of the "artistic" photographs from my travels and appreciation of nature in my iPhone? When I attempted to use my digital photographs as muses for watercolor painting, thus began a new calling. I immersed myself in watercolor techniques and surprised myself with each creation. As my pile of artwork accumulated, I began to share with photographic representations of my original artwork and the greeting card line evolved.
