My Community Matters! Rural Alberta is the heart of our province and it is here I feel most at home. My family moved to Didsbury in 1980 and I went to High School here so I am a lifer. I married my high school sweetheart, Brian, and we raised our 3 kids on an acreage east of town. We have been active with Special Olympics, 4 H, music and other community events(I do consider myself a community activist).I got my real estate licence in 2003. I was in the process of organizing a conference for Biological Interventions for Autism in Calgary and after speaking with one of the mom’s there who had just gotten her license it planted a seed. Long story short, I jumped in and started my real estate career with 3 young kids (one of them special needs)and a supportive husband.Real estate can be very demanding and you must be attentive to details. I think I am good at that and look for measures to prevent the pitfalls that can make or break a transaction. I started getting mentorship to assist in those day to day challenges and I have been a member with two real estate coaching companies for several years now. This has helped me immensely and so it has also benefitted clients who come to me for their real estate needs. In my spare time I like to be involved in my community, I love to camp and snowmobile and be with my family. Our acreage keeps us busy and we have 3 dogs, a cat and a large garden. When I was growing up my Mom canned and made everything from scratch but when I moved into my own place I thought I was off the hook. I am now realizing how important it is to know what you are eating and to preserve that food. I’ve also noticed some of the local market shops popping up that provide good quality food and supplies without having to go to the big box stores. It’s better for us and for our communities! If you are thinking of buying or selling give me a call. It all starts with preparation and knowing what you need to do. I'm the expert people call when they want to avoid the pitfalls and challenges we are seeing in the market today!MY CORE VALUESI am dedicated to living & working by these CORE VALUES:1.Live by the “GET BY GIVING” philosophy.2.Make my clients #1 GOAL, MY #1 Goal.3. Live up to my STANDARDS, despite temptations to lower them.4. Be willing to work toward a COMMON GOOD.5. Do what I say I will do, sometimes more, just NEVER LESS.
