In the last 5 years I have been performing freelance work which includes resume/cover letter/LinkedIn profile reviews, editing university level papers, giving short story reviews, as well as working behind the scenes with political candidates from multiple sides of the spectrum. Since 2023, I have been working on my master's thesis which is tracing mental health policy in the political spectrum. I also worked as the Mental Health Policy Intern in Wyoming's Governor's Office.During 2020, I utilized skills I learned previously with customer service, social services, and management to effectively arrange hospice and become executor of estates, all in a timely matter. From 2018-2020, I put my degree to work in the social sciences working with teenagers coming in and out of the justice system, and doing ground floor work. In April 2018, I earned Top Writer status on the website Quora, which at that time, had over 1,000,000 active users worldwide. During 2016-2017, while working remotely, l learned how to write research papers, and worked toward creating a web-based journal for sociology students at the University of Oregon. I also learned how to read tax proposals and the process of public input, and created grant proposals for Reedsport Public Library, of which more than $47,000 was raised for operations. From 2014-2015, at Sykes International, I demonstrated the ability to solve problems and adequately address national and international customer demand, while working independently of my team and managers.I have proven leadership experience, which includes taking initiative and making consistent achievements. I am one of only 300 inducted members of the National Honor’s Society for Leadership and Success (2017) at the University of Oregon. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, The American Sociological Honor's Society (2018). I am starting year 2 Political Science master's program at University of Wyoming (August 2024), working on mental health policy. Previous work experience includes:• QuickTest International. I rose from Market Research Interviewer to Assistant Manager in just a few short months. Our interviews rose significantly during my tenure. (2012-2014).• JCPenney. As a Sales Expert, I coordinated my team and I oversaw training my co-workers in all aspects of the job for more than three quarters of my 12 years there. I worked with all levels of the management team from the supervisors, to managers, to vice-presidents. I also worked with vendors and then passed my continuing product knowledge to clients. (1999-2000, 2001-2012).
