Serve as a critical member of the NAMC Oregon leadership team. Work in collaboration with the President and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to establish the strategic direction, mission, and operations of NAMC-Oregon. Lead staff management, internal policy, and non-profit administrative services; planning, directing, integrating, revising, and coordinating organizational structure, activities, and programs; working with NAMC partners, and other business sectors to form public/private partnerships; deciding and communicating overall goals and standards; budgeting and exercising fiscal control; directing personnel and operations. Lead NAMC Oregon’s fund development efforts through intentional partnership development and funding applications. Act as an internal convener of stakeholders to resolve complex challenges for the organization and its members. Provide oversight of office management-related functions for NAMC- Oregon’s communication, office management, procurement, internal operations, policy and procedure creation and implementation, contract management, professional development, risk management, and human resources.

Develop, oversee, manage and support small business development of NAMC Members and other Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, and Pacific Islander owned companies in construction and companies tangential to construction. Head NAMC's internal Human Resources (H/R) and provide H/R mentorship and guidance to small businesses as well as event planning, project management, and contract and grant management.

Provide oversight of all aspects of youth and employment programs and staff. Work collaboratively as a member of the Executive Leadership Team to enhance and expand youth and employment programming. Develop and maintain employer partner relationships in support of the overall work of the agency.

Manage the Urban Tech Jobs, Community Economic Opportunity, Youth, Community Works, and Workforce Program staff to ensure grant compliance for locally and federally funded programming.Develop partnerships and represent the Urban League on various workforce related committees.Create culturally specific curriculum and train staff on how to empower and coach Urban League program participants. Responsible for day-to-day management and supervision of all activities and functions of the programs including developing, implementing, and evaluating program policies, procedures and standards to determine the program service levels and enhancements; developing and monitoring program budgets.

The Urban Tech Jobs Program (UTJP), provided by the Urban League and funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is designed to introduce the long-term unemployed into middle-income careers in the technology sector. The UTJP Career & Life Coach provides direct career & life coaching services to participants of the Urban Tech Jobs Program. The Career Coach assists UTJP participants in developing personal employment goals, enhancing employability skills as well as the creation and execution of career plans. The Life Coach helps to remove barriers to employment for UTJP participants; and writes and presents workshops that help clients establish social networks and build positive professional relationships.
