After college I came to realize that the meetings and events industry was a career option for me. What inspired me to pursue this career is that every event and client is different, and the challenge of solving client needs and meeting urgent deadlines adds excitement to my life and keeps me on my toes. What I really love about my current role is that I get to use my strategic acumen and strong project management skills to assist our leadership team with developing and communicating strategic initiatives executing project, and implementing plans. I’m dedicated to the collective success of our team, our hospitality partners, and our clients. And, I am fiercely committed to process improvements, sustainable operations, and staff development. By working with city, county, regional government, Travel Portland, Travel Oregon, local venues, transportation providers, lodging facilities, security firms, tradeshow directors, DMCs, third party planners, and other stakeholders, I guide my teams into creating memorable meeting and event experiences that are the fruition of our collaborative partnerships.Like the city we are located in, OCC is never satisfied in our pursuit of excellence.
