Brian’s IT development began in the US Army, where he studied cryptography and telecommunications management. His restaurant technology background includes great brands such as The Cheesecake Factory, and leading technology groups for Ruby’s Diner, BJ’s Restaurants, STACKED Restaurants, LLC, & Mendocino Farms.At both Ruby’s Diner and BJ’s Restaurants, Brian had to build solutions from the ground up, integrating POS, KDS, HRIS, ERP and numerous other in store and above store technologies to achieve the company's strategic agenda. At BJ’s he also led the Sarbanes-Oxley, and PCI implementations. He crafted the STACKED Restaurants world first iPad POS, designing and implemented the full technology stack, sourcing vendors and managing all corporate functions. Brian has also founded {cio.school}, the educational branch of the Restaurant Technology Network.Brian is an IT leader with a foundation in, and bias towards, Operations.
