Hello!My name is Ciprian and I am a Front End Developer. I recently graduated 16-week Bootcamp at Birmingham University learning fundamental skills in web development.A long this Bootcamp I developed a good understanding of the concept of OOP, and functional programming, also used various technologies starting with the basics like HTML and CSS and moving forward into JavaScript, and JQuery and starting with React and NodeJs as libraries. I have experience in manipulating page information and creating interactivity using JQuery and React, also retrieving information from the servers using RESTful APIs. I can organise and type DRY code, also following the industry standards in developing web applications.A big part of this Bootcamp was about working together as a team. Group projects allowed me to gain valuable and extensive experience in maintaining code versions and using Git and GitHub. Also helped me learn about implementing features and bug fixes using Git branch workflow and pull requests. In the first group project, we designed and developed a website for travellers who like to travel and try local cuisine. In this project, I was responsible for the design, and organizing tasks and with my team members creating the website from scratch using RESTful APIs to retrieve information and manipulate it. I learned a lot from that project. In the second project, I worked with some of the best colleagues to solve a real-life challenge, during this project communication was essential. It was the first project using React and libraries. Many challenges were faced but in the end, we succeeded.
