To promote and protect the health, peace, morale, education, safety and welfare of the Tribe, its members and all other persons within its jurisdiction, and govern the conduct of Tribal members while on Tribal Lands as well as many other duties as described in the Pit River Tribe Constitution.

Duties were overseeing operations when the Chairwoman was absent, helping to build strong community relationships, and act with the power and authority of the Chairman in his/her absence or disability,

Responsibilities were to assist students with counseling and tutoring appointments, including setting a tone for present and prospective students as a public relations and institutional advancement resource.

As a Health Justice Fellow I led a small team throughout the state of California to help break down policy language to community members. Furthermore, I also advocated at the state capitol to ensure Health For All bills were to include low income and undocumented families at the state level.
