Acts as liaison between hardware and software suppliers for informational updates and problem resolution.• Directed the design, development, purchase, and maintenance of systems, programs, and software to meet the needs of the organization.• Developed, motivated and led teams of cross-functional resources.• Experience in implementing small, medium to large technology projects in a clinical setting.

Intercontinental Hotel, Tampa

The InterContinental Tampa consists of 342 guest rooms, 21,000 sq. feet of flexible meeting space, and 70+ back office end-users. It is my responsibility to make certain that our guest’s information stays safe, secure, and encrypted. Educating end-users on proper information handling and storage, as well as quarterly network penetration testing ensures PCI Compliance. In my first year, I have upgraded or refreshed many of the operational systems, including our PMS (Opera), voicemail and call accounting, as well as the business center. With no IT presence prior to myself, documentation has been a challenge. I am currently working on a documentation project in order to ensure IT continuity and disaster recovery.

JANUS Displays is the only provider of a fullservice, total digital signage solution, including software, hardware, enclosures, installation, custom software development and custom design services. As part of the JANUS team, it is my responsibility to oversee the installation and configuration of each unique network from the time the sale closes to install completion. I source hardware and implement network strategies in order to ensure a positive customer experience. I perform hands-on interactive training sessions at the customer location, traveling both domestically and internationally, implementing networks in China, the Middle East, and Canada. I also remotely install, configure, and maintain customer networks worldwide.

PAT, Inc. is the leader in the research and development, design and manufacture of wall, ceiling, and roof products. Platinum began with three employees, including myself, and a network consisting of three XP Home desktops. Platinum now has over 50 employees, a manufacturing plant in Alabama, and a corporate office in Florida. It was my responsibility to grow the network with the company while staying within a strict budget. Today, Platinum’s network includes 2 Microsoft 2003 servers, XP Professional desktops and off-site laptops, multiple Cisco switches, a Cisco router, a Cisco firewall, VPN concentrator, and a 25+ phone Cisco VoIP network spanning two states. My duties included the wiring of all office buildings, and the implementation, deployment and maintenance of all network hardware, software, and backup systems.
