Position is responsible for providing telephone/email/chat and remote diagnostic technical support of servers, storage, switches, routers, blades and various software applications (Windows, VMWare, Exchange, Oracle, Netware, etc.)- Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, performance, and usage of assigned products. Verifies warranty entitlement and determines appropriate action Quarterly 1x1’s with L3 Analysts and TTLs supporting your domains - Quarterly updates for your specialty/domain in Analyst team meetings and Program Reviews- Lead Executive Enterprise Technology Briefings around your technology a minimum of once per quarter - Identify existing Dell product or service opportunities that fill gaps in customers’ support requirements- Meet with Area Managers that support your domains monthly. Purpose is to share the activities you are working on and gather concerns they have regarding technical capability, emerging trends, and service offerings. Drive actions to close perceived gaps and follow-up with Area Managers- Present a status update quarterly on your areas of responsibility that includes information regarding agent to Analyst engagement rate trends, Analyst to Engineer/IPS/Vendor Escalation Rates, and Case Volume trends - Identify and help prioritize training needs for the domains you support by consulting with L3 analysts, managers and team leads to identify current training gaps. Individuals in this role are also heavily engaged and able to identify evolving trends and develop mitigation strategies as well as identifying training requirements for new product (hardware and software) releases- A detailed presentation must be provided within 8hrs of announcement for any acquisitions that pertain to the - Advisors in this role also develop Support Strategy for new platforms and routing, capacity needs/staffing, lab strategy and equipment, tools and entitlement infrastructure.
