Daily work included Configure and manage Dell Networking switches & FortiGate firewalls switch adds, moves and changes, new equipment installs of all types pertaining to Switch environment from installing new VLAN's to IP address assignments. Design network Architectures for future growth of the business to include acquisitions and new location installs. Troubleshoot Vlan and Routing issued within the local and remote networks. Travel onsite to help turnup and install equipment at remote locations. Work within the warehouse environment to troubleshoot layer 2 and layer 3 issues. Work on Ubiquiti wireless issues pertaining to connectivity and Vlan issues that are reported.

Cisco/Viptela SDWAN implementation and Migration Project for Kindred Healthcare to migrate over 750 locations. Working with Kindred Healthcare for the setup and configuration of Cisco/Viptela SD-WAN devices. Work with AT&T engineers to setup and configure Adtran equipment for AT&T MPLS and Metro-E circuit upgrades as part of the project.

Provide network support to the Baptist Healthcare network around the Kentucky area with other members of the team.

Worked on a short term project for moving a Healthcare businesses network and server equipment to a co-location facility in the louisville area. Moved over 200+ networked servers into a new Data Center CO-LO and ensures there were no issues once the equipment was brought back up.

• Short Term contract project work included, Configuring and installing windows 2008 R2 Enterprise on over 150+ HP servers to be deployed as part of a Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 conversion for Kindred Healthcare hospitals and offices around the United States.• Install and configure Zebra Bar Code Printers to Kindred Healthcare specifications.• Setup DNS on Hospital based servers to be Primary DNS for the sites.• Migrate Windows 2003 servers to new Windows 2008R2 servers with minimal impact to users (after hours).• Robocopy user and migration files to the new server and verify files were transferred.• Install and configure site specific applications on the new server for users based on location and site.
