I am a member of the Oracle pre-sales team, focused on expanding business opportunities in Cloud and on-premise middleware space. I am responsible to work with customers, understand their needs and find reliable solutions that bring the greatest value to their business.As part of my day-to-day activities, I have to:- Provide consultancy with clients and partners to uncover issues and requirements.- Deliver high standard solutions architectures to customers and coach them on how to maximise the technology benefits.- Customize demonstrations, positioning, and sales collateral to address each customer’s individual needs.- Provide specialist product knowledge and domain expertise during sales opportunities across Australia and New Zealand - Lead technical pre-sales activities with customers and partners including presentations, demonstrations, workshops, competitive sales positioning, RFP/RFI assessment, technical qualification assessment, etc.- Participate in account planning as well as market penetration analysis and strategy sessions.- Participate in external marketing activities such as presentations, events, public relations, etc.- Stay current on solution developments, product roadmap, cloud, social and mobile applications, competition, business momentum, customer success stories and selling best practices.
