I am a driven Polymer Materials Engineer dedicated to solving challenging problems in manufacturing medical devices. I have experience working on numerous types of extruded medical device components including high-volume coronary guide catheters made via over-the-core extrusion as well as tubing for peripheral devices made by free extrusion and vacuum sizing. My background also includes injection molding, compression molding, and additive manufacturing technologies such as SLS, SLA, and FDM. In addition to polymer processing, I greatly enjoy designing in CAD via SolidWorks and conducting FEA via programs such as Moldflow.I graduated from UMass Lowell with a BS and MS in Plastics Engineering in 2019 and 2020 respectively. I am highly devoted to my work and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. I love problem solving, employing my engineering expertise in real world applications, and I am eager to make a positive difference in the medical device industry and in the lives of others.
