My responsibilities also include project management, support, hardware specifications and commissioning.Energy and Utilities ManagementDesigning and developing an energy management system to reduce total cost of production in mining activities. The system derives contextualized empirical plant models from historical plant data. Empirical models are used in run time to advise operator intervention. Reporting solution implemented monitors energy usage per process area.Developing of a custom solution to detect and manage alarms and events occurring when a deviation from normal operating conditions occurs. Events and interactions are stored and analysed for reporting purposes.Manufacturing Batch Process: Paint Manufacturing, Food and Beverages. Batch based processing control, automation and reporting. Utilities control for CIP and Water Supply. Control implemented with Siemens S7-400 PLCs. Reporting solutions implemented with Flow Software, SQL and Reporting Services. Production losses measured and analysed as part of solution.
