Now into my 37th year around the sun as a captain, I retired 10 years early from the best in the old transportation business, Kirby Inland Marine. And I have never had so much fun or been busier. It appears retirement just didn’t work for me.... This year in particular I delivered a tug down the east coast. Then a barge throughout Florida. Next was a trip across country. And now working dredging in South Carolina. I am hoping to stay closer to home moving forward. But that ol phone gets to ringing. It is hard to say no to real adventure. I would like to work a yacht job or maybe teach. 18,000 watches. Yes. That is a real number. If your looking for a safe operator with a track record to be jealous of & want to have fun? Then lets talk.I have been a Commodore of a Yacht Club, Served on a National Safety Committee, Sailed to Alaska 3 times, Bermuda once and Hawaii once. Done more and been farther than most. 12th issue. Now working at McCarthy building harbors. It has been and continues to be grand adventure..Truly living the dream.
