Certified as an NYS-EMT, twelve years as a volunteer providing pre-hospital emergency care for patients in crises of medical, traumatic, and environmental natures. Also a CEVO certified ambulance driver. Served as the Corps' First Lieutenant, responsible for ongoing training for 60 EMTs, drivers and first responders, tracking CME credits and liaising with NYS Department of EMS for recertifications.

Minds in Motion workshop leader, supporting professional animators in this Jacob Burns Media Arts Lab animation program. We introduced 4th graders from under-served school districts to the language of film storytelling, to help them over 12 weeks to create their own one-minute stop-motion videos, which debuted at “red carpet openings” at the Burns Film Center.

ACTING WORKSHOP: Led after-school acting/theatre games program at elementary school level.

As a Board Member of this 501-C3 group dedicated to enriching the programs and holdings of the Chappaqua Library, I co-created the Dewey Decimal Theatre Festival (2014), the year’s second highest fundraiser, followed by Dewey 2016, Election Edition. Co-curated, co-produced and managed every aspect of the festivals. Managed business and creative teams for social media outreach; marketing and sales; logistics; graphics, logos, posters; community "readers circles.” On the production side, ran auditions, recruited directors, assembled tech crew, including live sound effects artist.Ran the annual Young Writers Competition (for ten years), a yearly event dedicated to encouraging and recognizing middle school and high school writers. Solely responsible for community outreach, recruitment of industry judges, school liaison, PR and much more.
