I am the primary Level II Licensed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor at Our Masters Camp, a 90-Day adult residential treatment center for men. I am also the Associate Director of the program. My roles and responsibilities consist of facilitating group therapy and psychoeducation groups in the program. I also conduct individualized therapy sessions with clients. I assist in the screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, and counseling processes in the program. I also serve as a case manager for clients, and spend a considerable amount of time identifying resources and referrals for clients in the program. As the Associate Director, I also conduct different administrative operations as well, such as drug screening, legality consultation, outreach events, and program networking. My desire is to meet individuals where they are currently in their struggles, and help them set a course towards self-efficacy.
