Manage staff, manage video division including equipment, TV stations, data, technical needs, manage assigned franchise-related areas including cable complaints, liaison to MTN and PEG access initiatives and produce City videos and government meetings

Research, write, edit, and produce programs, articles, newsletters, and web items to inform various audiences, including residents, neighborhood groups, and elected officials. Develop and carry out communications strategies to promote effective communication regarding core services, City policies, and programs. Develop and carry out proactive initiatives to highlight the accomplishments of and attributes of the City. Provide assistance in web, television, and social media strategies.

The purpose of the Cable TV Board is to ensure citizen participation in the administration of a cable franchise within this City, to identify present and future needs, and to provide advice to the City Council on the cable franchise agreement, renewals, and administration.
