Airframe Stress Analyst for V-280 Future Vertical Lift. Utilize tools such as Excel, Patran, Nastran, and Ansys and Classical Hand Analysis (Bruhn, Roark, etc). Worked on V280 Nacelle, Wing, and Fuselage.Airframe Test Management support for V-280 Prototype's First Flight. Will continue to monitor, analyze data, and support V-280 through KPPs in order to inform the Future Vertical Lift program.Completed analysis for an Emergency Landing Pad, Engine Blower Duct, and SLS (selective laser sintering) fillets, Cove Spar defects, Test Stand fittings, and Frahm kit placements.Developed FWD Fuselage Finite Element Model for Loads Drops for a unmanned aircraft V-247. Conducted trade studies for V-247 pylon and nacelle down-stop configurations.Provided Flight Test Team with strain predictions and component level significance for gauges to be monitored during flight.Support proof load tests for V-280 Wing, V-Tail, Flaperons, and Ruddervators.Support manufacturing team with analysis; such as, installation and clearance issues, unknown deflections that cause bindings, defects from suppliers, defects caused on the shop floor, and other issues that require stress analysis.
