With a MS.ED in Educational Leadership and Administration K-12 from Southern Connecticut State University and a MEd in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching from University of New Haven, I am a passionate and experienced educator and consultant who values quality education and inclusive and supportive learning environments.As an Elementary Principal at Hillsborough County Public Schools, I lead and manage various aspects of school improvement, strategic planning, data analysis, curriculum development, staff supervision, and collaborative learning. I have increased student achievement and growth, secured a large grant for a literacy program, and facilitated multiple professional development workshops for educators. As a Racial Justice Strategist Consultant at RE•CENTER, I provide research-based advisory and feedback on curriculum analysis, organizational development, and equity and diversity issues. I have helped several schools and organizations enhance their cultural competence and responsiveness, address systemic racism and oppression, and foster positive and respectful relationships among diverse stakeholders.
