As the only full-time staffer under the Executive Director, I performed a large number of duties. I was in charge of all daily operations including training, production facilitation, channel operations, video production and maintenance of PortMedia's facility, equipment and web presence. Having started in this position months before it opened, I also played a major role in choosing and implementing much of the equipment and policies at this all-digital PEG access center.

As Director of Operations, I was in charge of daily operations including the oversight of production facilitation and channel operation staff as well as the maintenance of equipment, facility, training programs and member activities.

As Producer Services Manager, duties included overseeing Production Facilitators, training and assisting community producers, conducting the biannual inventory, programming the City of Burien channel and performing video production roles.

Job duties included writing, shooting and editing regional television commercials, programs and corporate video. Interacted with wide variety of clients, staff and talent under the pressure of deadlines. Adapted to act in many capacities including sales on different projects. Also maintained a bulletin-board style cable channel.

Filled various television studio production roles including technical director, engineer, camera operator, audio board operator and CG operator for SD Public Broadcasting and syndicated programs including Today's Ag, Midwest Market Analysis and Garden Line.

I managed all general operations and oversaw a staff of five with 75-85 volunteer DJs. My accomplishments include performing the duties of all six staffers to have summer programming, securing the entire requested student fees despite opposition from the Students’ Assoc. and revising the Policy Guide and On-Air Manual. I also quadrupled underwriting income as Promotions Director from Aug. to Dec. 1999 and served as a DJ from Sep. 1997 to Aug. 2001.
