I write. I am always writing. I wake with words in my head. I write as I kayak, as I spy on songbirds, or sip wine and cook dinner. I specialize in language and persuasion. I love words. They wash over me in the shower, they dance riotously inside my helmet as I ride my motorcycle. When I light upon the right ones, I get them down. Then I pare them down. In writing, I present my clients in such a way that they more easily attain their calling and maybe even fulfill their dreams. I do this through engaged conversation and savvy observation. I try to make my clients comfortable enough in our discovery session that I can learn what sparks their imagination. This spark is what engenders the most meaningful work for them and for me. The career communications pieces (LinkedIn Profiles, Cover Letters, Professional Resumes) and weekly posts I write for my clients are individual fundraising campaigns bringing in business and leads. I use phrases that bring in the most engaged potential employers and website visitors, those who are most likely to become my clients’ employer or customer.
