Graduate of the Clemson University Honors College with 100+ hours of clinical shadowing at Prisma Health Hospitals in specialties including anesthesiology, pediatrics, radiology, surgery, and emergency/family medicine, and volunteered at a primary care free clinic in South Carolina. Participated in laboratory research focused on the medical applications of low-dose radiation for wound healing and cancer treatment. Created and applied AI/ML models to accurately identify features to analyze cell profiles. Worked with a team to develop a rapid, inexpensive testing kit to address issues with the COVID-19 outbreak. My bioengineering senior design project is a Pediatric Cranial Expander capable of being adjusted without repeated surgeries. I have served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for two engineering courses. Gained invaluable experience in analytical examination and strategic thinking. Involved in a variety of problem solving and team building activities inside/outside school.Interested in going to medical school and specializing in an area (indeterminate) that addresses some of today’s greatest challenges in medicine.
