Graduating in Accounting and Finance at the University of West England provided a strong foundation for my career in accounting. Following the completion of my degree, I undertook several varied voluntary and temporary roles, which included charity work in Uganda. Focusing on property whilst working at GCL Solicitors gave me an insight into the housing industry and a valuable understanding of the financial transactions involved in procurement. Having the opportunity to be involved in the completion process gave me great satisfaction.Since moving to Workman LLP, I have acted on behalf of several high ranking investment firms, providing management accounts relating to their property portfolios. I endeavor to optimize efficiency within my team. I streamlined the client reporting system by creating a bespoke Excel macro for reconciliations.I thrive when faced by challenges and analytical scenarios, with a passion for learning and also imparting my knowledge onto others. I became full qualified with ACCA in November 2020.
