With over seven years of experience in the solar energy sector, I am a passionate professional dedicated to driving innovative and sustainable solutions for energy, industrial, and environmental challenges. I earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Currently, I serve as a Director at INVECA, networking Chilean researchers in Germany, and as a Research Engineer at Fraunhofer Chile, a leading global research institute. At Fraunhofer Chile, I lead and participate in R&D projects focusing on the integration and evaluation of solar technologies for generating electricity, heat, or green hydrogen, and desalination powered by solar energy. My work involves collaboration with international clients and Fraunhofer Germany network institutes, including a research stay at the Plataforma Solar de Almería. I've authored multiple international scientific publications, demonstrating advanced knowledge in solar energy project analysis, modeling, simulation, and evaluation. Proficient in technical software (TRNSYS, PVsyst, among others) and fluent in English, and Spanish, I am committed to continuous learning and contributing to the sustainable development of Chile and the global community.
