Business Networking International (BNI) is an organization that brings business people together to help them grow each others' businesses and develop professionally. My role is to coach several chapters in the DFW area, working primarily with the chapter leadership to grow their chapters, work through conflicts and challenges, and support them in their leadership development.

Reclaim is a commercial roofing contractor. I was brought on to expand their business development beyond storm chasing, to a long-term relationship-building focus with key accounts and perpetual referral sources. My main activities included networking, educating, and strategic market penetration.

Ran the pest control technician department, which included remotely managing 20-30 full-time and 15 seasonal techs, licensing and compliance, purchasing, equipment, and a fleet of 40 vehicles across 5 different states. Responsible for hiring/firing, onboarding and training, quality assurance, forecasting, reporting, and financials. Reduced attrition significantly by increasing and encouraging employee engagement, actively listening, improving training, and meeting legitimate needs. Traveled to each state quarterly to shadow, train, and encourage employees; evaluate vehicles and equipment; meet with suppliers; and mentor the local area manager.Took a functioning but disorganized division and turned it into an efficient, systematized program by 1) determining key objectives and needs; 2) identifying the gaps; 3) developing replicable systems to meet those needs and objectives; and 4) creating and implementing training, accountability, and evaluation processes to achieve desired results. Many of the systems and trainings I developed and implemented remain in use by the company today.

Probably my favorite place that I've ever worked, which is saying something! Getting to teach over 120 young men and women who were dedicated to the principles of service and sacrifice, and helping them go to the next level. What a great place to work while going to college.
