Throughout his career, Chris has built digital businesses, often reinventing traditional brands and assets into digital products.Previously, Chris led AOL.com, one of the web’s largest destinations. There, he improved the product and increased its mobile presence to grow its audience, content consumption, video usage, and monetization. Leading AOL’s homepage, Chris played an important role distributing content and supporting monetization efforts for AOL’s leading brands like the Huffington Post, HuffPost Live, AOL On, Moviefone and TechCrunch. Chris has additional operating experience launching new businesses for NBC Universal and Hearst. At Hearst, he led the build out of Hearst's digital video platform and incubated several new video channels. At NBC, he lead its Emerging Digital Business group, launching several of its branded entertainment products, and supporting venture investments in the Peacock Equity Fund. Earlier in his career, Chris spent several years at McKinsey, helping launch new digital businesses in Media, Retail, and Telecom.
