As a mathematics/physics teacher at USD #366 for over 23 years, I have a passion for sparking students' curiosity and creativity in mathematics and engineering. I use interactive and engaging methods to teach complex concepts and skills, such as TinkerCAD computer-aided design via iteration, and to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.I have seen the impact of my teaching on the lives and careers of my students, who have gone on to pursue and excel in mathematics and engineering fields at the United Nations, NASA, the Air Force, and more. I am proud to be part of their journey and to contribute to the advancement of science and technology. My goal is to continue to inspire and equip the next generation of mathematicians and engineers with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to succeed.
