I hate today's overly-pushy sales tactics. I'm exhausted by the constant stream of ads, emails, and messages telling me I NEED something. The product might be great, but you're talking to a guy that used the same phone up until I had to charge it 4+ times a day. So I doubt I "need" your product.Maybe that's why I ended up in marketing. Because I was tired of being shouted at and told what to buy. And what better way to change things than by doing it yourself?That was the draw to digital marketing, and in particular, content marketing. I loved the idea of creating content that offered real value to the reader while also explaining (not selling) why a particular product could be the solution.As consumers, we are much smarter than we were a decade ago. We do our research, we want to understand our issues, and ultimately, we want to know what solution fits us best. Creating value-oriented content provides all of that, delivering value to both parties in the process. The consumer gets the information they need, and the business gets a valuable lead and/or sale.It's a win-win, and that's exactly what I want from any business relationship.This thought process eventually led to the creation of Techtonic Marketing - a digital marketing company that puts an emphasis on creating high-quality and engaging content. And with a little strategy, SEO, and time, this content can turn into a natural sales funnel that can be leveraged for years to come.Running a business is undoubtedly one of the most challenging things I've done in my life, but it's also been one of the most rewarding. It's opened the doors to numerous opportunities, connected me with incredible individuals and companies, and allowed me to build a team around several core values.- We view our clients as partners.
