Performed as an SQA Analyst and Tester on the VA's electronic billing (eBilling) component of the MCCF project. This included tracking Integration Control Registration requests, performing SQA reviews on multiple VistA patches, reviewing technical documentation and validating software processes and products utilizing established quality assurance policies, plans and procedures. Used integrated tools such as Fileman and ad hoc reporting to assist in data gathering and analysis for increased detailed testing. Investigated software defects and worked with teammates to develop action plans, evaluate root cause, and establish corrective actions. Created MTP and test cases to ensure precise workflow and system functionality. Conducted Clinical timings, gap, data validation, HL7, X12, data mapping and test analysis of historical XML and HL7 clinical messages into Mirth Results for a consortium of hospitals integrated into a single data portal.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

Worked with integration of the new inpatient EMR, Essentris, with CHCS and AHLTA using all skills and knowledge built in over twenty years in working with CHCS. Has developed current go-live plan, curriculum, schedules and deployment of Essentris at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Traveled to multiple sites to assist with their go-live initiative and training. Assisted with creating files and programs within Essentris for better system usage. Worked with other Military hospitals to initiate a successful deployment of the new inpatient EMR as a successful part of the complete patient record.

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) Responsible for all aspects of outpatient EMR system operation, system maintenance, software and hardware update planning and implementation, preparation and submission all contract and division reports. Manages coordination and communication with Department of Defense, Local Military officials and SAIC organizations, personnel management, HR issues, implementation of company and division policies. Troubleshoots CHCS, AHLTA, LAB Interfaces and PC hardware / software problems. Works user problems, assists staff in integrating PC and system issues, develops tools for an increased user workflow and generates ad hoc reports. Analyzed data, built and developed files and tables utilizing both FILEMAN and VMS to create files, reports and integrated menus.
