Joel’s motto is “Your Realtor at Your Service.”Joel first moved to the Florida Keys in 1989 where he worked at a local radio station. In 2000, Joel and his wife Bonnie moved to the Smoky Mountains where he served as a teacher and worship leader with area ministries and churches. They returned to the Keys in 2009 where he followed his passion and began his career in real estate. He joined American Caribbean because of the company’s care for the community, professionalism, team environment and continuing education.Joel was named Realtor of the Year by the Florida Keys Board of Realtors (FKBR) in 2013, served as Board President in 2016 and was the 2018 President of the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Joel’s passion for community service is reflected in the organizations he volunteers with; MarrVelous Pet Rescue, Habitat for Humanity and Autism Society to name a few. He is a charter board member of REACT, a non-profit serving realtors in need.Joel and his wife have two daughters and three grandchildren. Backcountry fishing and golf are among his favorite hobbies when he’s not showing real estate.
