Provided software engineering & Oracle consulting Services to Motorola's Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Team using expertise in UNIX , SQL Forms and UI/GUI support.● Redesigned their mobile phone customization process prior to shipment to adjust to a “direct toconsumer” model.● Made changes to the distribution and logistics system to handle “offline” radio customization andprogramming.● Made integration changes into their Oracle ERP (EBS v11) Order-to-Cash (OTC) process to include anew supplier cash disbursement model. (pay on shipment vs pay on delivery)● Managed the on-call support team for after hours support of logistics facilities (Motorola and outsourced 3PL partners)

Designed and developed Brightpoint’s first enterprise order fulfillment system for the new North American PCS (IMEI & SIM based handsets) market based on specifications from Bellsouth. I became an expert in the warehouse management system and implemented a kit building module and electronic data transfer to the carrier within 6 months!Brightpoint patented this business process in 2000 and subsequently became a world leader in wireless handset warehousing, distribution and logistics. Once Brightpoint became global, an integration challenge needed to be solved. Brightpoint decided to standardize their ERP’s throughout their newly acquired Distribution Centers around the globe and I was asked to lead this $10MM+ project implementing this same warehouse fulfillment system in the UK. I lived and worked in England and Ireland for an entire year to help implement this initiative.

I began my career in Motorola's Paging Division Computer Integrated Manufacturing group developing client/server software for what was considered one of the world’s most sophisticated automated manufacturing operations.Our global team was responsible for the development of real-time applications that ran robotic-enabled manufacturing systems 24/7, supporting facilities in Puerto Rico, Germany and Southeast Asia.During my last two years in this role, I participated in the implementation of a Tier-1 Global ERP system; all manufacturing sites worldwide were brought online within 12 months. It was a tremendous accomplishment, working with a multi-disciplinary team across several different countries and time zones. It was a great achievement, even by Motorola’s high-quality Six-Sigma standards.Highlights of this very exciting position include the submission of two patent ideas, one technical publication and the participation in a corporate wide training video production for SEI Level 3 process improvement training. Our organization was one of the first ones to achieve such a high CMMI SEI level.During my 5 years at Motorola as a software engineer, I learned the importance of quality software engineering based on the Six-Sigma foundation.
