Previously Technical Project Manager which involved the day to day running of multiple projects, mainly in the clinical sector. Responsible for the execution of the SDLC and the timely delivery of the various software products. I worked closely with the Head of Engineering and the Development Manager to ensure process and quality is maintained, and to actively seek to continually improve all aspects of the department. Nottingham And Howden

In this role I managed and directed multiple concurrent software projects with up to 20 direct line reports. This composed of two teams across two sites in Nottingham (PA Images) and the main Operations centre in Howden, Yorkshire (PA Sport, TV listings, Arts and Events and Pressnet). The combined income of this estate is approximately £27M.At PA Images I was responsible for the software development of the images archive, both the public facing and the subscription only websites together with all of the associated internal systems such as reporting, invoicing, intranet etc. At the PA Operations centre in Howden I was responsible for the Applications Management team who’s directive is to maintain and improve the legacy systems and add new functionality where required. This includes most of our sport production, the TV listings, Arts and Events output and the Pressnet suite of editorial websites (Mediapoint). Over the last two years or so for new projects we have moved away from the traditional waterfall model towards using agile methodologies (scrum) of which I have attained the Scrum Alliance certifications for both Scrum Master and Product Owner.In my role at PA Images and PA Sport I have dealt directly with many blue chip clients including the Associated Press, Picturemaxx, Picscout, Sky, Yahoo, MSN, Premier League, LOCOG as well as liaising with all parts of the PA business.

I initially joined Greenhat as a Flash Developer producing learning software for those with disabilities and for those at risk of social exclusion. I assisted the management in the bid process for funding from European Social Fund and the Learning and Skills Council and presented at the Sisifo E.S.F. project in Parma, Italy Oct 2006.
