About Christopher Johnson

Chris Johnson is a business executive, book publisher, and theater producer. As publisher, he has published John W. Dean's Blind Ambition: The End of the Story, BravoTV personality Josh Flagg's Million Dollar Agent, and Hollywood megaproducer Jonathan D. Krane's The Art & Science of Filmmaking. In 2006, Chris started a business venture with Authors on Tour which provided author lectures and events to a variety of venues. This eventually led to the formation of Polimedia, founded by Chris and partner Charles Lago, a full-service public relations company. Today, Polimedia's focuses include talent management, publishing, films and the newly launched full-service casting company, Polimedia Casting. His company manages talents such as Tom Sizemore, Sally Kellerman, Bud Cort, David Proval, Britt Ekland, and Bertie Higgins to name a few. This year under Polimedia Publishing, Chris will publish School Emergency Management: A Practical Guide to Implementation.Prior to Polimedia, Chris Johnson was a successful owner and operator of several bookstores in Southern California, including Current Affairs in San Diego and the innovative Peppertree Bookstores with three locations in the Palm Springs area. In addition to publishing books, Polimedia is producing the feature films An Honest Thief and Along the Way (directed by Peter Bogdanovich) both of which will shoot in 2013. Also in 2013, Chris and partner Charles Lago will produce the critically-acclaimed one-man show Methtacular (named by Time Out magazine the “best one-man show of 2012”) and Gary Lennon’s The Interlopers.Specialties: * Professional Media Releases
