It built dedication, hard work, and perseverance into my character.My goal was to be an All-American in Cross Country at CSU San Marcos. My first season had its ups-and-downs, but my goal was laser-focused. At our final race before nationals, with a 103-degree fever, I decided to compete to give our team the best chance for success. I finished as the last man on the team (7th), but we had our best win ever at the Regional Championships!Two weeks later, I rose to the occasion and placed 21st at our National Championships (top 30 earned All-American)! I was also the 1st runner on the team that day, the only time I ever achieved it! And we had the best finish out of any other team in school history!MOVING FORWARD: I strive to build off of my product management, eCommerce, and analytics experience to innovate products and processes on collaborative teams.
