As the founder of NUMIT Engineering, I completed many cases/projects by exploring different engineering disciplines especially when I involved in my major field of computational fluid dynamic - CFD and finite element analysis - FEA via benchmark, technical training, consultation work and etc. The completed cases are aerodynamics drag prediction with PROTON, internal-flow for cooling purpose of nuclear reactor, multiphase oil-water separation of horizontal vessel with Oil and Gas, hydrodynamic simulation of ship resistance prediction, rotating equipment flow simulation with blade optimization, damper’s hydraulic simulation for high rise building to predict different level of damping ratio, and more. As for FEA, crack-propagation prediction was with PETRONAS, drop analysis of electronic packaging, thermal-stress prediction of hot tube bracket for Oil and Gas, warpage prediction of PCB board with SANDISK and etc.The most challenging works are when couple both application, CFD and FEA for application such as thermal-stress analysis of crude oil boiler with sparging effect, comfortability analysis multi-body simulation of TERBERG truck, pipe thermal-stress analysis with PETRONAS.I also provide training and support for our clients in Oil and Gas, Marine and Offshore, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Automotive, Universities and etc.During my work in NUMIT Engineering, besides having engineering to be my main focus duty, I explored different business opportunity such as eCommerce (www.onlinestore.numit.com.my), exportation of bird nest products and branding consultation (www.numit.com.my/bird-nest.farming.html), database software development for CRM and Inventory management (www.eim.numit.com.my) and currently developing an interface to manage OpenFOAM’s processes and datas. I also started his ACADEMY portal for to provide online learning (www.academy.numit.com.my)In the meanwhile, I also mastered TOYOTA PRODUCTION SYSTEM before I started my first job as an Industrial Engineer to study and optimize the production flow by synchronizing the information and material to meet the requirement of TPS and ISO TS 16949. I was also appointed as a lead auditor to assist the departments to comply the requirement of ISO TS’s audit and developed my own excel sheet (which finally a database system) to capture the information flow from shop floor.
