I am a native Texan that grew up in the DFW area and joined the military shortly after graduating high school. During my five years in the Marine Corps, I gained invaluable knowledge and experience that has shaped my future. My general occupational field was in aviation rotary wing aircraft maintenance and repair. My expertise was primarily based on the MV-22(Osprey), AH-1(Cobra), UH-1Y(Huey), CH-53(Super Stallion) helicopter platforms, including airframes, flight controls, hydraulic/ pneumatic systems.I spent the first two years of my career learning and refining my craft as a hydraulic technician. I became highly efficient at tasks such as; troubleshooting for fault isolation, complete overhaul of aircraft components, manufacturing of rigid tubes and flex hoses, final operational checks and support equipment upkeep and repair.After mastering my duties as a technician, I transitioned into the quality assurance department where I now oversaw the same activities I previously performed. As a quality assurance representative, I became very experienced in reading schematics, use of precision measuring tools and final inspections.After completing my five-year contract in the Marine Corps, I transitioned back into the DFW metroplex. I quickly acquired a position as a quality assurance inspector at Lockheed Martin. Unfortunately, I left my position to pursue a degree in Aviation Logistics. Upon completion of my bachelors degree have since returned to Lockheed with a higher level position in the Quality department.
