I managed the Internal Communications team. We helped provide employees line of sight to the strategic plan; we developed and implemented communication strategies and plans to support change programs and a large variety of initiatives and projects across the organisation. A trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, I provided communications guidance, planning and implementation support to appropriately manage issues and drive strategic business outcomes.

Designed, developed and managed the national training program for Amcal and Guardian pharmacy staff, covering Product knowledge, Customer Service, Retail Marketing (National, Local, Loyalty, In-store Promotions), Stock Productivity and Retail Basics - in line with Amcal and Guardian’s brand requirements and Sigma’s retail strategy. Supervised the support provided to pharmacies in the use of Amcal's and Guardian's secure websites and telco issues.

Established a new communication channel for Amcal and Guardian pharmacy groups - secure websites (communication/promotional hubs).... Look and Feel design, User Specification document development, content management, chat forum moderation, generating income by securing advertising/promotional deals for pharmacies. Managed Internet Connection project for over 700 pharmacies nationwide (reducing Sigma’s costs by $650Kpa), including liaising with contractors, ISPs, setting up phone-lines, software etc.Provided support and training pharmacies.

Implemented the National Advertising Program. Produced all supporting material - catalogues, POS material, magazines, TVCs, RCs, trade advertisements, competitions.Developed and managed the Guardian Pharmacy website, public relations program and local area marketing initiatives for pharmacies.
