Threat Intelligence Analyst
CurrentIn my role as a Threat Intelligence Analyst, I specialize in the meticulous research and analysis of cyber threats, leveraging open-source intelligence (OSINT) and advanced client tools to produce comprehensive, actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:•Conduct extensive research on trending cyber threat events, including ransomware, phishing attacks, and software vulnerability exploits, to produce Validated Intelligence Event (VIE) notes.•Craft VIE notes with a technical writing approach, tailored for a professional audience, ensuring clarity and relevance for executives and technical readers alike.•Identify and analyze key elements of cyber events, such as threat actors, malware, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).•Map cyber events to the appropriate MITRE ATT&CK framework identifiers, enhancing the analytical depth and accuracy of the intelligence produced.•Collaborate with fellow Threat Intelligence Analysts across the Philippines and Boston teams to ensure the integrity and comprehensiveness of published intelligence.•Publish and disseminate VIE notes via the Client Tool, ensuring all related entities, including malware, threat actors, and MITRE ATT&CK IDs, are accurately mapped and documented.•Work closely with Data Science teams to curate and enrich new intelligence entities, such as emerging malware strains, threat actors, and CVEs, to enhance the client’s threat landscape awareness.
